A good cleansing…

Filed under: Uncategorized — Ray @ 3:29 pm

As I sit here in Southwest Wisconsin looking out my window as the snow is falling in really big flakes, I am reminded of what is occuring as it snows. The snow, just like rain, cleanses the air and brings in a fresh new perspective to the day. Whether you like the snow or not, it is natures way of washing the air we breathe.

I think it is wise for all of us to look at our lives, days, hours and even minutes as a cleansing to our spirits, energies, and actions. As each minute passes, it is gone and there is no need to hold on to it whether it has been a good one or a bad one, it is simply over. Yes, we should learn from it, grow from it, change or enhance our actions and energies as a result; hopefully becoming better human beings.

We should look at each minute as a new opportunity to cleanse and start fresh into the next thought and action. Most of us are so fortunate to have the things we have created with our words, thoughts and actions.

I am going to change and get ready to teach my martial arts class now and I am focusing on the cleansing effect of each monent as it passes while working with, and learning from the students as they work through the class with great intent and passion.

It’s Great to Be You! maximize your potential……..always.

  1. We share similar perspective on the refreshment of snow. Whenever I do a Space Clearing ceremony I recognize my Place of the North w/ the phrase; “/from whence the cold, cleansing winds of winter come“.
I like how you break it down into each minute. Really brings meaning to the saying “live in the minute”.
Every minute is like every snowflake, starting fresh and once spent/fallen are part of a whole that was our day. If we let it pile up in the way of our next it becomes a burden. Shovel your path in the moment and let the pile be admired as work well done, as it melts into a new spring. Have a great day~EV
